Auction Report – Land at Brownhill
The Land at Brownhill was offered for sale within the Memorial
Hall, Longtown, at 2.30pm on Tuesday 17th June 2008.
The land comprised 12 acres (4.84 hectares) of useful grazing land
at Brownhill, Roadhead, in north Cumbria and provided potential
for agricultural or equestrian use.
The land was in two enclosures
with roadside access, stock proof boundaries and a trough water
supply and was sold at the auction to a local resident for £29,000.
